Welcome to the CMW Orchestra Page!
Overview of our program:
Freshmen and sophomore string players are enrolled in the Orchestra 9/10 ensemble. This class studies the rudimental skills for string playing that lead to success. This ensemble performs two formal concerts a year as well as travels for performances.
Junior and senior string players are enrolled in the Orchestra 11/12 ensemble. This is the premier ensemble at C. Milton Wright for string instruments that upholds high performance standards. Students have the opportunity to refine intonation and performance skills in this class while playing challenging music. This group performs two formal concerts a year in addition to local assessments and traveling to play at venues such a Hershey Park.
Both groups are part of the C. Milton Wright High School Orchestra and have the opportunity to perform on music department trips.
The orchestra classes are taught by Ms. Logan Santiago. Please contact Ms. Santiago at [email protected] for more information about our program.
